Plink Slate

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This policy describes the simple public Plink Slate website and the owner's separate personal-use Google OAuth backup app.

The public website

This website provides information about Plink Slate. It has no visitor accounts, sign-in, contact forms, payment processing, analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or embedded YouTube videos. The site's own pages do not set cookies or use browser storage, and they do not request access to your Google account.

Hosting and technical information

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and request logs, to deliver the site and help protect its infrastructure. This processing is separate from the content of these static pages. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for information about its practices.

The personal-use backup app

The Google OAuth backup app is a private tool that uses Google Drive to back up the Plink Slate owner's project files. Backup copies are stored on the owner's local PC and in Google Drive. The app is not offered as a public service, and visiting this website does not authorize the app or provide it with access to visitor data.

Google account access is authorized separately through Google's OAuth consent process. The permissions shown there determine the Google data the app can access. Information accessed through that authorization is used only for the owner's personal backup workflow.

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared for unrelated purposes. The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Access and deletion

The owner can revoke the app's access through Google Account connections. Revoking access stops future authorized access; it does not automatically delete backup copies already created. The owner controls how long project backups are kept and can delete them from the local PC and Google Drive. Saved app authorization credentials are managed separately by the owner wherever they are stored.

Other websites

Links to Google or Cloudflare take you to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices. This website does not load their services through embedded content.

Policy updates

This policy will be updated if the website or backup workflow changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
